Another complain
Oh man...My body aches. I'm trying to get back to doing 50 pushups everynight. Yesterday was busy in my outlet and I was the cashier. I wasn't thinking whether I'm tired or not. I was thinking abt my colleague doing all the front. I mean there's only 2 of us and the customers outnumbered us. Hais...I feel bad leaving my colleague in the front.
In times like these, I always fine myself doin less work. I wonder if I was really occupied. There's one moment when I get restless...and then decided to clear unwanted plates from the customers' table. I don't know why I dont seem to be called to take orders. Then one time, the 1 of 8 glasses broke...and it's really not the time for these things to happen. Furthermore, the pepsi was out. And I went to the back to get a new one.
The outlet is getting more busy. I wonder why. 3 days straight, damn busy. Well...not REALLY busy. It's just that we have 2 ppl outside. I think I really need to get a non-slippery shoes. Well, not to actually prevent myself from falling but instead to increase my speed. With slippery shoes, it's hard to move fast but fun to slide and moonwalk :D.
On Thursday, I was the cashier again. Lucky got an experience colleague who was from JP work on that day. She, me and a newcomer. I'm not only busy with cashier and bar but also takeaways. By 8pm, the JP colleague hv to go liao. I understand la. So left me and a new guy. He keyed in wrongly, and made the customer hv to pay more. That's not all. His food was served late. My attachment manager told him that he will give him a discount(well that's what i heard from the customer).
****Though I thought I saw him(mgr) writing 10% discount on a docket, but I wasn't informed abt it. [I was cashing out that time. So I need to focus on my cash...dont want shortage]****
The docket was not in the slot for that table. So i reprinted a new one. So he paid for the price w/o discount and then pay more(cos' of the wrong keyed in by the newperson). He came back to me abt it.
I informed my RGM abt the wrong cash out. He told me to refund him and i did.
Too many things went wrong. I just couldn't concentrate.
When the tide started to mellow down, I finally hv time to check whether my customers hv received their food by checking the dockets. And then, I found the lost docket that the customer was talking abt. DAMN it, it was wrongly slotted. Hais...even though it was my attachment manager who slotted in, I believe it's still my fault for not checking properly.
It's also my fault for not checking abt the add-on prices at the docket. Haiss...
That's my mistake I supposed.
