Two Weeks of fever

2 weeks ago I was having a high fever. I was really tired that I actually couldn't stand. The last time I had a very bad fever was during the NCC orientation. I had to lie down...can't even sit. To make the situation even worse, it was raining. Thus, from that day onwards whenever I hv fever, I will start to shiver.
I had fever and has endured for almost 2-3 weeks. Yesterday I started to feel it again. There were so much customers and it's quite busy. To make it even worse, I didn't have break and hv to extend my working hours from 10 to 12. So i've been standing for 12 hours. It's torturing but I like it. I mean it's an experience that I can be proud of. This morning I went to see doc and was told i'm having a high fever. He offer me an MC, I don't want.
Good thing that there's 2 senior workers in the front house. By 8pm, I was so weak liao. But thanks to the seniors I can relax a bit.
I'm always OK. :D
Sunday - a month of working in Pizza Hut
21st Jan. Sunday.
Well..it seems that I've been working for a month liao. I've already get my salary but I'm still using my savings.
On 21st January, a Sunday, I was working from 10am to 10pm. Just another day of 12 hours. It's so cool and fun. My managers are all friendly but I don't know why some colleagues r just not happy with some of my managers. Most of the colleagues I know is at the Front Of House(FOH). I am the only guy in the Front...the rest of them are girls. FOH workers are service staffs. I don't really feel bad being the only guy. I find the younger girls cute and sometimes I treat them like my own younger sister. The girls of my age group, i find them either disgusting or neutral. The older ones are like big sisters to me =.=".
Customers. I've encountered many different customers. It's so fun. Some are even my friends. Customers complain a lot. Usually, no one is not at fault cos' sometimes the machines in the kitchen have problems and we in the Front Of House(FOH) get scolded from the customers. Personally, I would say that the customers were being unreasonable but at the same time, they cant be blame cos' they do not know how the system works.
Dealing with unhappy customer is just one of the learning experience. I also learn to speak more...even though it is unnecessary. Another thing is I get more involved with the outlet. I learn to be a cashier, bartender, service staff and a cleaner. lol. Teamwork is vital.
There're still so much to learn.
And the last day of my first month, was completed by a compliment from a customer. :D
I want to have a partner
I just want to have someone to work with me together to achieve individual/same goals. I feel so solo. 1-man-action. I want to have someone to talk to about my goals and what I want to achieve.
MOst of my peers are more interested in relationships. It's hard to find someone who wants to achieve something else besides than B-G-relationships. It's not that I dun care abt BGR stuffs...it's just that most girls hv good first impressions but the mindset is not good (to me).
It's so boring being so different from my peer group. Looking at myself...I am not stylish. I am not good looking...maybe that's why I dun hv partner? I am short...I dun hv any talent...but I have an ability which I think it's my speciality.
Having a partner doesnt mean having a stead. It's just to have someone to share the same interest. Someone to chill out with. Someone to communicate with. Hmm...
Anyway...today at work was a bit messy. My sore throat turns the kitchen upside down for a moment. Good thing is that...I'm getting stronger...i can carry stray of bowls n glasses with my palm. My balancing was cool too. :D
Tomorrow is going to be slack...cos' I'll be working for 4 hours. It's 6/7 hours lesser than my usually working hours. I dun really like it actually. I want at least 6 hours. haha...i need to exercise and be stronger.
Chalet and the returning to work..till now
9jan> Chalet...we met at MRT. Go there. Hv fun. Ate half cooked chicken wings...then go home.

11> work...I had fever..too weak to stand up, but i did. It's full shift. Most of my colleague thought I am tired cos' of every day full shift from 11am-10pm. But it was my fever that held me back. Then i was really forcing myself...it's the first time I really need a break. Took 2 panadol pills during break...and then feel orite (a lil). Soon back to be weak...force myself. 10pm still got customer...I am not suppose to rest, but i need to. :D...go home took 2 panadols n sleep.
12> Still feverish..but never say die and still go work full shift. Weak....at least able to stand longer than the day b4. Then i suggest to my colleague who is also sick (and dun like to work anyway), to let me replace her the next day.
13> I was supposed to work night shift..but I volunteer to replace my colleague...who hv to do morning shift...so I do full shift again! :D So happy. By this date, I was coughing...a bit...but throat hurts. Sometimes got blood in my phelms.
14> Feeling much more better..tho still throat hurt. It's fun working as a team...but when team members r tired at 8 close to 9pm...it sucks. I understand tat my colleagues in FOH r all girls..so maybe i'm just stronger n can last longer than them. But it still suxs...cos' all they do is chat among themselves n i work alone.
15> I become cashier...man...there's only 2 worker in the front house. And I am new to cashier stuffs...and my colleague is like talk so much n stick to the kitchen areas...I felt angry..but i kept my cool. I told her i got sore throat n hard for me to communicate with customers. Then when goin home that time..i was saved by my cousin who was doin the cashier report for me...I told my colleague abt her performance. I'm happy tat i can settle it peacefully. :)
Later...I dunno wad to expect...i dun wanna be cashier...just wanna take dishes away from customer...cos' i sore throat...and getting voiceless
9am to 5pm CHAMPS course
Yesterday, I went for CHAMPS course. It's a pizza hut course.
It was a very good learning experience. Most of the people there are, however, not very passionate about it. Some just want to play a fool. Whereas some just don't even bother.
But I don't know why was I so into it.

I heard that one of the worker in that course, does not believe in teamwork. He said the leader is bad. And things always go haywire because some people want this and that.
I didnt get a chance to talk about teamwork to deliver a message to the class or that guy.
Well...this is my respond. To me, teamwork is all about cooperation. If there's no cooperation, there wont be teamwork. He said that the leader is not good and bossy. Ok, I guess his leader has a bad leadership. Being in NCC, being a leader, you must always be the problem-solver. A leader must have the right attitude. Being bossy will result in less respect from the members. Leaders must be caring and concern. The reason why there is no cooperation in his group is because the leader is so bossy to the extend that at least one of the members decided not to cooperate resulting the whole team to become haywire. Thus, no teamwork.
And then, in one part of the course, I have to do a presentation in being in a customer's shoes. And guess what, I improvised. I also used the public speaking skills I learnt in sec3. :P I felt so cool after my speech...cos' there were so many claps. :D

I did apply it when i got to work at 6pm. Wahh...a customer(A) kept saying the soup is not hot. And one of my colleague went to make it warmer. Still say not hot. So she want to see my manager. My manager settle it. :D Then after that, I went to the customer despite feeling a little irritated. I said, "Thanks for telling us our mistake"
She went on talking about she own 3 restaurants. And so on. And say please give pizza hut a good name. Well...something that I learnt from my course i put into practice. Practice...that's what I'm proud of myself.
And then another customer(B) want the air-con off. I said there's another customer(A) which would like to have the air-con on. So B want me to ask A whether if it's ok to turn it off. I say, "sure". Yep... A agree. Then when A wanna leaves, I go further by offering them some plain water. :D
For the B, they want another take away. So yea, I ask my manager to settle.
:D Things went so well...i was happy with my service. lol.
Then at night, what the fuck...i was told to fold boxes...i ended up with scratches on my hands...and a bleed. I say i go home...scared blood drip more. :D Actually..just an excuse to ciao. Cos' it's close to 12am.
Boring
Yesterday was very rushing...today...very slacky.
Yet..a mistake can cause problem

It was one of my colleague's. She took order but did not keyed in the 'Lasagne'. So the customer sat there for such a long time...then he called me. At that time, my colleague was taking her break. (man...she's gone at the wrong time). So wad happen was tat the customer, trying to sound calm, ask me, "where's my lasagne? My pizza is goin to finish but my lasagne haven't been served."
I asked him whether he already ordered(just to confirm). Then i went to check the computer. It's not there. I guess it's my colleague's fault then. It's ok..everyone makes mistake. So i keyed in and explain to him. He's not local i guess...he's accent and speech is differ from local. I still tried to explain anyway.
But the customer make me feel..a bit annoyed and also a lil bit amused. He was being sarcastic. He asked, "My pizzai is finishing but my lasagne haven come...is it because there's a lot of customer?" (there's no customer in fact...tat's why boring)
I was like...arghh..really cannot say anything, but i still say tat my colleague forgot to key in the lasagne. And he still ask me the qn and being sarcastic. =.=" I guess i cant get angry wif anyone nor can i feel guilty. The customer dunno how the system work...and I'm just like being asked a dumb. And my so call tat senior colleague can't always be perfect.
So yea..while waiting i saw that colleague of mine coming back to the workplace...and i confirmed wif her whether she did that mistake anot.
Me: (name), u didnt key in the lasagne for the customer?
She: *give a panic face* (tat tells me all. lol)
Me: ok nevermind.
